I’ve discovered a yummy gluten free pizza crust that holds mozzarella, tomatoes and basil quite nicely.
Hiking with Matt at Galena Summit. We hiked a bit further than this and then he took off down the hill and I picked him up halfway down the mountain.
And then we went to Boise for a long weekend where Matt helped his grandmother work on a bed that she was commissioned to paint with Norwegian rosemaling (above the dancing children that Matt is painting).
A snowy day (turned rainy in the afternoon) is nicely spent indoors. And no, I did not even deliberately contrive this scene. Matt was napping on the couch for most of the day (see blue hoodie on the right), and I was sitting at the table reading. When I decided to eat I heated up some of my newly-made tomato soup and spread homemade pesto on some very grainy toast. We did venture out for a few short walks with Hank while it was still cold enough to be snowing, so he pleasantly napped for the rest of the day.
It was a wonderful day to stay inside.
